Berserk or Die, in a nutshell, is the feeling of being backed into a corner with no way out. You are the last soldier left on the battlefield as an endless ocean of enemies fills your senses. No option for retreat here, your only options are left attack, right attack, or die.
The combat system is designed to keep you on the aggressive. Stand still and you are dead. Every night, there is a short break when you can heal and upgrade your weapons with Drifter Peddlers. Spend it wisely because with every ing day, more and more haunting figures fill the land.
Keyboard Wrecking Gameplay
This will destroy your keyboard, and you will love every second of it. The more buttons that you pound, the broader your range of attack. Chain attacks together and you’ll unleash a special move that clears the screen. It’s so much fun racking up that Special meter that’s satisfying, and then releasing pure nastiness from it.
Pro tip: The pad controls are pretty convenient if you want to save your keyboard from dying a horrible death.
Warriors Through the Ages
What I really like is the cast of fighters. You are not stuck just with one generic hero but with different warriors across history with their different styles. The weapons themselves are crazy:
Classic broadswords
Lightning-fast katanas
Brutal great axes
Mystical staffs
