Blade and Sorcery Free (v1.0.6)

Finally, a VR game where swinging a sword actually feels real. Blade & Sorcery is not yet another wave-based combat sim, but a medieval sandbox simulation with physics. Every hit, block, and spell cast has weight, and the game doesn’t hold your hand. Wanna stab, slash, or even throw a dagger mid-air? Go for it. The combat adapts to how you play, not the other way around.

And, yes, it’s nothing VR because putting this on a flat screen would kill what makes the whole game special. The way weapons collide, how magic deflects off blades, even how the enemies react, it’s all built for motion controls. You feel the fights, not just button-mashing in it.

What Makes It Different?

Most VR melee games feel like you’re swinging a pool noodle at enemies. Not here. Swords have real resistance, arrows fly with real force, and magic? The chaos! My favorite was casting gravity spells, lifting enemies, and dropping them while swinging. I felt like a proper sorcerer, not just a guy waving his arms.

Sandbox mode is where it shines. There are no scripted combos, no auto aim; just you, your creativity, and a bunch of very unlucky NPCs. You may also be interested in: I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream Free
