What Firefighting Simulator – The Squad about?
Well, Firefighting Simulator – the Squad is as far as you can get really, from being a firefighter, without actually running into burning buildings. Now, this is not some arcade-style game where you just spray water indiscriminately. You are actually in full control of your legit Rosenbauer fire trucks as you bust through flames and rescue people in a massive world open city, and when I say massive, I don’t mean 15,000 acres with 40-plus locations all based on real West Coast places.

Play alone or command your AI squad like a true pro, or three friends in co-op for some chaos in firefighting action. Fires start here, there, and everywhere in factories, houses, even in the downtown skyscrapers, and each call is different. The gear? Totally authentic. We’re talking legit helmets, boots, and breathing masks from Cairns, MSA, and the real trucks, all of them fully licensed, from the TP3® Pumper to the monster T-Rex® with a hydraulic platform.
When the alarm goes off, you have to move fast. Suit up, jump in the truck, hit up the sirens, and drive to the scene of action. It might be a tiny kitchen fire, a chemical accident, or a giant inferno in an industrial building. The fire physics are nuts too, backdrafts, smoke propagation, electrical fires, even grease fires that burn like wildfire. And driving? They go all out on detail. You can go cockpit view, use and gamepad, or even use a steering wheel to access those narrow streets in the city.
Replay value is enormous. Every time, missions run differently during day and night cycles. Also, the sound design? Right on. Radio chatter, engine roars, and even voiceovers make you really feel like you’re inside the action. And if you’re new, there’s a nice tutorial to take you through it.
Bottom line: If you’ve always dreamed of firefighting, this game’s worth checking out for anyone interested in high-stakes, team-centric sims. You may also be interested in: Revenge of the Savage Planet Free (Build 18509278)
