Visually, the game definitely nails that clean, semi-realistic look. It has an art style that does not try to blow you away with hyper-detailed graphics, but it works for what it is. Tons of options are available to customize your store shelving, lighting, decor, you name it. Do you want a fancy boutique or a barebones discount t? Go for it.
But the city breathes, with different neighborhoods having a unique crowd. There are storms and the day-night cycle to increase immersion. The music suits the background, something not too much dirt distracting you from micromanaging your empire. Solid sound effects: cash s, footsteps, all that good stuff.
Staff Drama & Customer Chaos.
Hiring doesn’t end there; you’re looking at resumes, weighing skills, even personality clashes. Employees have needs: tiredness, raises, and even vacations. Train ’em right, and they’ll get all leveled up, but let morale drop, and the drama will unfold.
Customers? Pretty much, some princes who haggle prices, others buy on impulse. Differentiating your market pulls in different crowds, go for luxury and get selective shoppers, or play the volume game for bargain hunters. One foul move, and they’d trash the store with their reviews online.
The Commercial Grind
Pricing, restocking, and sales are all handled over to you. The inventory system is detailed, almost too much at times. Expanding your store takes money and good planning. Trends go up and down by hours, so what sold yesterday might not do so well today. The UI pours tons of data on you, great once you get it, but newbies feel pretty lost.
