From Soldier to Legend in Ancient Rome

As for Marius Titus, dude has gone through hell, watched barbarians slaughter his family, and ed the Roman army for revenge. Now, the story begins with bitter personal vengeance and leads to epic enterprises in which you would lead legions, crush rebellions, and become probably the greatest general of them all in Rome.

The combat system? Brutal! You could say that, kicking enemies off cliffs with shields and executing them with grotesque sword combo kills. Nevertheless, timing was of the essence; you did need to time blocks, look for openings, and be aware of the opponent’s location. My favorite will go to the double kill, where you would stab one dude and hurl the sword at another. Soooo satisfying!

Why This Still Rocks

Ryse looks remarkable till today for some PC graphics; the game is a beauty straight out of the oven in 2013! Armor details and action are brought to light by 4K rendering. the beach assault mission? Waves thrashing, arrows flying everywhere, guys being speared left, right, and center, it is simply chaos in the best way!

Shorter than most games today, at about 6-8 hours, and honestly, this is perfect. No filler, just pure revenge-tracing story lines with some genuine emotions attached. That scene with Marius finding his family God, that hit different. You may also be interested in: Hotel 188 Free
