World-Myriad. The war will never end. And then the mages, after centuries of ceaseless conflict, unleashed The Cataclysm, an unrestrained wave of magic which brought civilization crumbling down in ruins. Now creeps upon the land a violet mist moving without paralysis, and everything it touches gets warped by it.
Only a few are left to fight. They are scattered Havens with the last line of defense against all that emerges from the mist during nightly hours. A handful of weary heroes from different races hold onto the line with the hope that mages may perform The Last Spell ceremony to purge magic from the world. It is their last hope.
