The Shattered Balance Between Man and Demon
Many centuries ago, humans and demons had a thinly spread balance in their mostly coexisting existence. Though there were often flare-ups, they did work to maintain peace. That balance was destroyed once the Nine-tailed Fox with great power emerged to rule all demons under it and united demonkind into a single entity to hurl chaos into the human world.
At present, you will journey through lands scarred by this catastrophe, battling mountains of demons as you search for truths about why this happened; doing so, the fate of both realms will be shaped by your journey.
